 This stunning rural property is situated on the door step of Rotorua city and comprises 1000 acres of fertile hill county pasture along with large stands of native forest. 

On these two and half hour adventures you will ascend to 609 meters above sea level providing stunning views of Lake Rotorua.  

The Omania trail leads you to the top of the Omania range, providing you with premium vistas of Lake Rotorua, Okataina and the majestic Mount Tarawera, the scene of massive volcanic activity over the last two centuries.  

Our Sunrise experience  is for those people who really travel to collect fantastic memories. Get up early head for the best seat in the house and experience the Rotorua surrounds, feel alive and humbled as nature pulls back the curtains for the new day.

Traversing the Omania trail on the Smoko Run  you’ll gain an insight into an authentic working sheep and cattle farm. Learn about the farm’s history, its development of food production philosophies and its ongoing environmental sustainability through conservation projects.

If you are an adventurous type then you might like to join our Omania Trail downhill mountain bike  ride.   We’ll take you to the top of the farm where you can descend at whatever speed you choose – easy paced, medium, or fast and furious. It has been designed to allow people to get outside and enjoy the property from a grassroots level. The ride is ideal for backpackers and families at the intermediate level.  

 You’ll be required to sign a waiver that means that both parties – us and you – You have accepted and acknowledged the risks involved in mountain biking.
